One of the more fulfilling things I did as a physicist was research in nuclear fusion as a new, clean and virtually unlimited energy source for the future.
And one of the coolest things I did as a physicist was research in anti-matter plasmas (more accurately positronium plasmas).
And one of the things I did as a physicist which makes me real proud was develop a hands-on physics curriculum for kids anywhere between kindergarten and 12th grade.
Oh, yeah, and one of the most fun things I did and am still doing now is to teach a lecture series called “Physics for the Brave at Heart” which is aimed at getting high-school physics teachers excited about physics and the cooler and more esoteric topics like string theory, black holes, gravitational waves, dark matter, dark energy, cosmology, the Higgs boson…..you name it!
